Nijawwon Matthews - Wylliams ■ Henry Dance Theatre

Nijawwon Matthews began his training with Sean Mcleod owner of Kaleidascope Dance theater. He continued his training intensively with Yvonne Villano Hassett owner of Absolute Dance and the Absolute Dance Company. Nijawwon became principal dancer with ADC and danced with other amazing companies such as Cleo Parker Robinson and Deeply Rooted. Nijawwwon Matthews worked with Donald Mckayle. Christopher Huggins, Mia Micheals, Kevin Iega Jeff, Gary Abbott, Victoria Dale, and Milton Myers. Nijawwon also teaches and choreographs for Colorado Contemporary Dance Academy, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensamble, and other schools in the Colorado region. Nijawwon Matthews recently assisted Christopher Huggins at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. This is Nijawwons 1st season with WHCDC.
