Tracy Franklin, a native of Chicago began her training at the age of 16 at Joseph Holmes Dance Theater. After high school Ms. Franklin moved to New York and graduated from the Alvin Ailey Certificate program. She became a member of the Dallas Black Dance Theater from 2000 to 2004. In 2004 she moved back to Chicago to dance with Deeply Rooted Dance Theater where she's currently in her 5th year with the company. This is her 2nd season with WHCDC.
